EEC workers carrying out maintenance on power lines

Mbabane – The Eswatini Electricity Company (EEC) has announced scheduled power interruptions across several regions on Tuesday, 14 October 2025, due to routine maintenance. Members of the public are urged to treat all electricity structures as live during the outages and exercise caution.

In Siteki, Ejabula and Nhlabeni Primary School will be affected from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with maintenance taking place near the Matsetsa substation and surrounding areas.

Elangeni residents, including Mlindazwe, T&J, Polar Park, Mtjodvweni, and nearby areas, will experience outages from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm for routine maintenance.

In Manzini, Sidvokodvo Paiva, the Sidvokodvo filling station, and surrounding areas will be without power from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Mhlume, specifically Shewula and eMlangani, will have interruptions from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Nhlangano will see power cuts in Mahamba, EWSC Masibini, Jojo, Mbukwane, Tfokotane, Dlovunga, Ntandweni, Hilltop, Mahamba Mission, MTN Mahamba Tibibini, and Nxuthu between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Hluti will be affected from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm for routine maintenance and project construction, while in Pigg’s Peak, Bulembu border post, Malandalahle, Sikhumulweni, and Bulembu MTN will experience interruptions during the same hours for PMR commissioning.

The EEC apologizes for any inconvenience caused and reminds the public to stay safe around electrical infrastructure during the maintenance period.
