Ezulwini – The Kingdom of Eswatini and the European Union (EU) successfully concluded the 2nd Partnership Dialogue at the Royal Villas in Ezulwini, strengthening their commitment to a long-term relationship grounded in mutual respect and shared values.
The dialogue was co-chaired by Honourable Pholile Shakantu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and H.E. Karsten Mecklenburg, EU Ambassador to Eswatini. Several EU Member State Ambassadors attended, reflecting the comprehensive Team Europe approach to the partnership.

Discussions built on the OACPS-EU Partnership Agreement, also known as the Samoa Agreement, with participants exploring avenues to foster sustainable development, shared prosperity, and resilience for communities in Eswatini and the EU.
Both Minister Shakantu and Ambassador Mecklenburg expressed optimism about the outcomes, noting the partnership’s continued role in supporting Eswatini’s national goals for inclusive development and sustainable growth.
