Mbabane – Royal Leopard Football Club president V. Masango says the team’s latest triumph is a victory for the entire Kingdom of Eswatini.
Speaking after the match, Masango praised the players for delivering on what he described as a mandate of national importance. He explained that His Majesty King Mswati III had instructed the team to secure nothing less than a win, an order he personally reinforced to the players before the game.
“I am extremely happy with this win,” Masango said. “This was not just about Royal Leopard. The players carried the hopes of the whole country and they delivered.”
The president urged the squad to remain disciplined and focused as they prepare for the next round. He noted that the victory is a stepping stone and insisted that extra effort and commitment will still be required as the tournament progresses.
Masango dedicated the achievement to the people of Eswatini and the supporters who continue to rally behind the police-sponsored side.
