Mbabane – Sibusiso Bongani Dlamini, an Eswatini student pursuing a Master’s in Natural Hazards Mitigation and Management at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan, has received the ICDF Academic Performance Award of NT$15,000 (approximately E8,650) for his exceptional performance earlier this year.
Dlamini, an ICDF scholarship recipient, said studying in Taiwan has been a transformative experience, allowing him to develop skills in a world-class academic environment. He expressed gratitude for the scholarship’s support, which he says enables him and other Emaswati students to embrace opportunities abroad and prepare for future leadership roles in Eswatini.
National Cheng Kung University is recognized globally for its programs in disaster management and environmental studies, offering students like Dlamini a platform to excel and gain international exposure.
