Mbabane – The Ministry of Public Service has confirmed that the much-anticipated salary review report for civil servants has been delivered by the appointed consultant.
In a statement issued on Saturday, 16 August 2025, Principal Secretary Mthunzi Shabangu said the consultant submitted the draft report on 15 August, in line with the timelines agreed upon between government and public sector unions.
The agreement, signed on 9 July 2025, had set 15 August as the deadline for the draft. Shabangu explained that the report will soon be presented in a session with stakeholders where its key findings, recommendations and implementation plan will be shared.
The Ministry expressed appreciation to unions, the Government Negotiations Team and other partners for the cooperation shown throughout the process. It said this collaboration would be critical as deliberations on the report and its adoption continue.
