Ezulwini – Eswatini’s business community will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of regional and continental trade frameworks during a three-day engagement on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) and the Southern African Development Community (SADC) trade agreements.
The sensitisation workshops, scheduled for August 19 to 21, 2025 at the Eswatini Revenue Services (ERS) Headquarters in Ezulwini, are organised by ERS in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade. They are designed to help participants identify and access new market opportunities while strengthening their grasp of Eswatini’s trade policies.
The sessions will run from 8:30am to 1:00pm daily and will follow a sector-specific programme. On Tuesday, 19 August, the focus will be on the manufacturing industry, followed by agriculture, food and beverage on Wednesday, 20 August. The final day, Thursday, 21 August, will be dedicated to small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
