HLUTHI – Three schools in the Shiselweni region received upgraded infrastructure yesterday, Thursday 7 August, following the official handover of education projects worth E2.7 million by the Ministry of Tinkhundla Administration and Development.
Minister S’khumbuzo Dlamini presided over the handover, which was funded through the Government’s Regional Development Fund (RDF). The projects include a new agricultural laboratory at St. Juliana Primary School, a semi-detached staff house at Ngozi High School, and a block of three classrooms at Hluthi Central High School.

At Hluthi, the new classrooms are expected to ease overcrowding and improve the learning environment. Community members supported the project with manual labour and locally sourced materials.

The staff housing at Ngozi High School is intended to improve working conditions for teachers by providing suitable accommodation near the school.
St. Juliana Primary School now boasts a modern agriculture lab, designed to give pupils hands-on learning in farming, crop science, and sustainable agriculture practices.
Minister Dlamini commended parents, school administrators and residents for their contributions to all three projects and said the developments reflect government’s commitment to locally driven progress in the education sector.
