EZULWINI – Women received free health screenings and wellness education on Sunday as the Ministry of Health’s Health Promotion Unit took part in the Makoti Indaba hosted at Trumpet Assembly Church.
The gathering, which drew women from across the Ezulwini area, was aimed at equipping participants with the knowledge and tools to prioritise their health. The ministry, supported by partners including Taiwan ICDF and Baylor Clinic, provided services such as cervical and breast cancer screening, non-communicable disease (NCD) checks, and nutrition assessments.
Health officials led interactive sessions on early detection and prevention of diseases like cancer, high blood pressure, and diabetes. Attendees were encouraged to eat balanced meals and stay physically active, especially those already managing chronic conditions.
