Mbabane – Young Zesh has teamed up with gospel artist, Bishop Gcina Masuku, in realising a single titled ‘Nhlitiyo Yami.’
August 8, 2025, has been set as the release date for the collaboration, which is billed to happen through digital platforms. Young Zesh said that the track was produced by DJ Navie, under the label, Mabonwa Abulawe Records, and is engineered by Sean Cast HQ.
Young Zesh opened up about the emotional turmoil he faced from those he once loved and trusted as the motivation behind the song.
“This song is a personal cry from the heart. It reflects the deep pain of being betrayed by people who were close enough to touch your soul but chose to hurt you instead of protecting you,” he said.
The artist further said “The song captures the experience of being let down when your heart was open, honest, and pure. It reflects the shock of realising that not everyone who claims to love you is loyal.”
“Betrayal leaves scars that are invisible to the eye but heavy on the soul,” he added.
Bishop Gcina Masuku, known in the gospel music scene, vocalises some spiritual verses. Both artists expressed eagerness for fans to experience the message, urging for support by streaming the song on the digital platforms to be announced once it drops.
“We are taking umculo weSiSwati to another level. Thank you for your continued support.”
