MBABANE – Legal professionals in Eswatini will soon be able to sharpen their skills in artificial intelligence as the University of Eswatini (UNESWA) introduces a new course designed for the legal sector.
The six-week programme, titled Generative AI for the Legal Profession, will be rolled out by the university’s Artificial Intelligence Academy (UAIA) starting 23 August 2025. It is open to legal practitioners, law students, and others working in law-related fields.
The course will focus on how to use AI responsibly in the legal space—covering legal research, document drafting, case analysis, and informed decision-making using generative AI tools.
UNESWA said the training will combine online classes with hands-on exercises, making it accessible to professionals across the country. It also follows global benchmarks for ethical AI use within the legal system.
