MBABANE – Over 300 aspiring tertiary students have been summoned by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security to attend scholarship interviews at the end of July.

The ministry, through a public announcement issued this week, instructed applicants who submitted scholarship requests to study at the Eswatini College of Technology (ECOT) to appear at the Labour Ministry’s Conference Room between July 29 and 31, starting at 9 a.m. daily.

Applicants are required to attend the interviews accompanied by a parent or guardian. They must also present original versions of several documents including admission letters, Form 5 certificates, tertiary results (where applicable), national ID cards, birth certificates, and in the case of orphaned applicants, death certificates of their parents.

The scholarship interviews are grouped according to the programmes for which students applied.
