Lobamba – Children from around Lobamba gathered at the Olympafrica Centre on Friday for a day of fun-filled athletics activities organised by Athletics Eswatini in partnership with All Out Africa.
The event attracted dozens of young participants who took part in running, jumping and throwing exercises aimed at introducing them to the basics of athletics in an entertaining and educational way.
Coaches and organisers used the opportunity to teach the children the importance of teamwork, respect, and balancing sports with academic success. The activities also focused on ensuring that every child felt included regardless of their sporting abilities.
Athletics Eswatini said the event was part of its ongoing grassroots programmes to promote healthy living and sportsmanship among young EmaSwati while nurturing future sporting talent.
All Out Africa, a tourism and community organisation, joined the athletics body to support the initiative, which was held at the popular Lobamba sports facility.
