Mbabane – Acting Deputy Prime Minister Jane Mkhonta-Simelane is inviting members of the public to honour the memory of the late former Prime Minister, Prince Mabandla Dlamini, by signing the official condolence book now open at the DPM’s Office during working hours.
Prince Mabandla, who led the country as Prime Minister between 1979 and 1983, died on 28 June. His passing has drawn tributes from across the Kingdom, with many remembering him for his service to the nation and his deep connection to Swazi traditions.
A memorial service will take place this Saturday at the New Zakhele Free Evangelical Assemblies auditorium. A state funeral will follow on Sunday at Ntfonjeni in the Hhohho region, where mourners are expected to gather in large numbers to pay their final respects.
