The Ministry of Labour and Social Security has announced the availability of 15 undergraduate scholarships for Emaswati to study in Morocco for the 2025–2026 academic year.
http://www.amci.ma/The scholarships come through a bilateral academic cooperation programme between the Government of Morocco and the Moroccan International Cooperation Agency (AMCI). Applicants will have the opportunity to study at various Moroccan public universities, vocational centres, and higher learning institutions.
Five of the 15 scholarships are fully funded and awarded by Al Akhawayn University, one of Morocco’s top English-speaking universities. To qualify for these, students must have obtained at least 95% in their most recent high school results.
Only applicants aged between 19 and 23 who completed high school in 2024 will be considered. Admission will depend on academic merit, availability of space, and specific institutional requirements.
Although the medium of instruction across most Moroccan institutions is French, successful candidates will be required to undertake French language training in Rabat before proceeding to their chosen field of study.
Each scholarship includes a monthly stipend of 1,750 Moroccan Dirhams (around E3,300), a return air ticket, and medical insurance. However, students are expected to cover their own registration fees, accommodation, transport, and other personal expenses.
Application forms and details of available programmes can be accessed at https://tinyurl.com/moroccoapplication2025. Applicants must submit certified copies of their academic and identification documents, a police clearance, medical certificate, and a passport photo.
All applications must be submitted to the scholarship office on the ground floor of the Old Income Tax Building (etolishini) in Mbabane before the 28 July 2025 deadline.
