MANZINI – Local entrepreneurs are set to benefit from a practical digital skills training scheduled for 12 July at Alcon House, aimed at helping them turn social media engagement into income.
The workshop, titled Visibility to Revenue, is organised by To-Fo Digital and kicks off at 10:00am. It will be led by corporate marketer Temnotfo Mvubu and creative strategist Siphiwo Lushaba, who will guide participants through social media strategies and design thinking techniques tailored to local realities.
Mvubu, known for her work with The Link-Up platform and corporate clients like MTN, will deliver sessions on how to develop a social media strategy and introduce participants to digital marketing with tools they can use immediately. Lushaba, who recently participated in an AI policy dialogue with Members of Parliament and government officials, will lead the segment on rapid solution prototyping using design thinking.
The training responds to increasing pressure on small businesses as economic conditions tighten. According to Lushaba, many young people want to start businesses but struggle with marketing confidence. The session aims to build that confidence and provide tools for entrepreneurs to adapt quickly to market demands.
Participants will receive certificates and mentorship opportunities after the session. Registration costs E150, and interested individuals can sign up through the link: https://forms.gle/o8L9ChCp3wE4zJN7A.
