Paris — Swazi-born DJ and global Amapiano star Uncle Waffles turned heads at the Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring/Summer 2025 fashion show, held in Paris under the direction of Pharrell Williams.
The event, which drew international music and fashion royalty including Jay-Z and Beyoncé, saw the Mbabane-born artist, real name Lungelihle Zwane, bring a fresh edge to the designer showcase. She wore loose-fitting brown trousers, a crisp white shirt, and a sleeveless jumper — a clean look that balanced streetwear flair with high fashion subtlety.
Her signature short, curly blonde hair added an extra spark to the outfit, drawing cameras and fashion bloggers into her orbit. A video montage she posted from the event carried the caption, “If you like it, get it twice. Thank you for having me again.”
Held at a historic venue in Paris, the show was another collaboration between Louis Vuitton and musician-turned-creative-director Pharrell Williams. While Beyoncé left with a designer handbag fresh off the runway, it was Uncle Waffles who brought the cultural heat and musical cool to the front row.
Now a regular feature at global fashion weeks, Uncle Waffles has risen from a viral TikTok clip to performing at Coachella, gracing magazine covers, and now being invited twice to one of fashion’s most exclusive runways.
Her latest single, “Zenzele”, which recently got a boost from Tyla’s viral dance video, is picking up momentum online — adding to her growing influence in both music and pop culture circles.
