DULLSTROOM, MPUMALANGA – Tour operators and media representatives from Eswatini, Mozambique and South Africa gathered in Mpumalanga on Wednesday for the opening of the Triland Excursion, a regional tourism initiative hosted by the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA).
The event, held in Dullstroom under the Emakhazeni Local Municipality, runs from 25 to 27 June 2025 and aims to promote travel opportunities between the three neighbouring countries.
MTPA Acting CEO Justus Mohlala welcomed the delegation, which included participants from Limpopo Province, urging operators to strengthen collaboration through joint packages and shared experiences that attract domestic and cross-border travellers.
Representing Eswatini, the CEO of the Eswatini Tourism Authority, Vusie Dlamini, said the Kingdom continues to benefit from South African visitors, many of whom attend flagship events such as MTN Bushfire.
