MBABANE – Khuluma Eswatini will host its first-ever GradConnect Seminar on June 27 at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, targeting fresh graduates and young professionals seeking to navigate the often uncertain path of building successful careers.
The event promises a mix of inspiration and practical advice, with speakers from diverse backgrounds expected to share real-life lessons and tools for career advancement. Central to the discussions will be themes of bravery, persistence, and adaptability in the face of career challenges.
Among the headline speakers is local comedy sensation Mduduzi “Mdura” Dlamini, who walked away from formal employment in 2015 to pursue stand-up comedy. His journey from uncertainty to performing on international stages and representing top brands will offer lessons on risk, reinvention, and the power of following one’s passion.
Marketing strategist Phumlani Matse, known for his social media influence and branding skills, will break down the value of personal branding. He’s expected to offer practical guidance on aligning individual values with public visibility in a competitive job market.
Human resource expert Gcebile Dlamini, who heads HR for a leading sugar company, brings over 15 years of leadership experience. She will speak on how graduates can align their talents with workplace culture and organisational goals for better performance.
Also joining the lineup is Setsabile Mamba, a young professional who climbed the ladder from a graduate trainee to a respected name in regulation. Mamba will speak to transitioning from entry-level to established roles, touching on the strategies that shaped her journey.
