MBABANE – Home-grown excellence will take centre stage on 25 July 2025 as the Made in Eswatini Consumer Choice Awards return for their second edition at Brackenhill Lodge.
Set against the lodge’s natural backdrop of indigenous gardens and sweeping mountain views, the awards ceremony will recognise top-performing local brands chosen by the people of Eswatini. The event runs from midday to 10pm and is organised by A Peculiar People, a creative agency led by Melusi Zox Dlamini.
Under the theme Creating the Future, the awards aim to celebrate innovation, quality, and consumer trust in local products. Dlamini said the initiative not only rewards exceptional service but encourages a shift towards a self-sustaining and digitally advanced economy.
Only brands that secured wins in 2024 will be allowed to exhibit and sell during the event, giving attendees a curated shopping experience. Featured names include Black Mamba, Emlembe Honey, Go Raw Juice, Imbali Gin, Baobab Batik, Mongi Botanical, and Luna Hair & Body, among others.
The E250 ticket grants access to performances from comedian Mdura and musical acts Cybos, Miss T, and Mixmash. Phila Ph.D Dlamini will serve as host.
The venue’s salon and spa will also host product activations for health, wellness, and beauty brands, blending luxury with local identity.
Award winners will receive the Symbol of Excellence badge, a mark meant to elevate brand visibility and strengthen consumer confidence.
