MANZINI – Mbabane Highlanders Thando Dube was charged with murder at the Manzini Magistrates Court on Monday.

Dube was charged by Magistrate Sihle Dludlu for stabbing another dead during a drinking session on June 14.

Dube, who signed a confession, could not contain his emotions after he was charged. He was accompanied by some officials of the football club who offered support.

He is expected to reappear in court on June 25 possibly in the presence of his defence attorney. Dube was advised to seek bail at the High Court.
