MALIYADUMA – A disabled man from Maliyaduma, Stanley Lukhele, received a disability-friendly house on Thursday, May 30, courtesy of the Eswatini National Provident Fund (ENPF) through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
The handover ceremony was attended by ENPF Board Chairman Mduduzi Gina, CEO Futhi Tembe, CSR Committee Chairperson Sindi Mango, local leaders, and community members. Lukhele’s new home includes ramps and accessible features designed to suit his mobility needs. In addition, the ENPF completed a poultry shed on the property, supporting his efforts to become self-reliant through small-scale farming.
The project forms part of ENPF’s ongoing CSR efforts aimed at addressing the needs of vulnerable groups. Lukhele had been struggling to complete the poultry structure with earnings from his handicrafts before the organisation stepped in to assist.

CEO Tembe thanked the CSR committee for following through on the project, saying the initiative reflects ENPF’s dedication to transforming lives meaningfully. “This is not just about handing over a house—it’s about restoring dignity and enabling independence,” said Board Chairman Gina during the handover.
Mango, who also serves as the General Manager of Corporate Services, explained that ENPF is hands-on in every CSR project, from planning to execution, to ensure that each intervention makes a practical impact.
An emotional Lukhele described the home as a dream come true. “I am very grateful to ENPF. They’ve given me a gift worth a lifetime,” he said. “I hope more companies come forward to help people with disabilities like me.”
