Mbabane – Women from across Eswatini and beyond will gather at the Happy Valley Hotel on May 23, 2025, for the inaugural Women of Impact Leadership Forum, a high-energy, intimate celebration of leadership, empowerment, and storytelling.
Organized by the newly launched Wom-pact Foundation, the forum will run from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and is expected to host between 100 to 150 delegates, including corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, students, and community changemakers.
Themed “Honoring Her Leadership, Celebrating Our Journey,” the event aims to spotlight the resilience and achievements of women across various sectors while offering a space for authentic dialogue and connection.
“This is our first-ever forum under the Wom-pact Foundation, and it marks a significant evolution from the more formal conferences we’ve hosted in the past,” said Hloniphile Matsebula, co-founder of the organization. “We’ve created something more personal and celebratory—where women’s stories take center stage.”
Unlike previous content-heavy conferences, the forum will include recognition elements, exclusive networking sessions, and corporate engagement opportunities designed to enhance visibility and impact.
The event will be hosted by Siphesihle Nkwanyana, with keynote remarks from Andile Mtetwa Amaeshi, a prominent voice in trade and aviation. Other featured speakers include Echo VanderWal, Miliswa Mamba, and Tizie Maphalala—all recognized for their leadership in their respective fields.
Matsebula emphasized that the venue is secure, accessible, and fully equipped to ensure comfort for all attendees. “Whether you’re coming to learn, network, or celebrate, this forum is for you,” she added.
Looking ahead, the Women of Impact Leadership Forum is set to grow into a broader movement. The foundation plans to launch mentorship circles, development workshops, and the Wom-pact Impact Awards to continue supporting and recognizing women throughout the year. Collaborations with other women-led initiatives are also in progress.
