LOBAMBA – Eswatini’s Prime Minister yesterday officially opened the San-Bushman Display and “Planet Africa” exhibition at the National Museum in Lobamba. The event, supported by the Embassy of Germany and the German Archaeological Institute, showcased a significant piece of the kingdom’s cultural history.
While the San people have long been extinct in Eswatini, their legacy remains a crucial part of the nation’s heritage. The exhibition features intricate rock paintings, as well as historical tools and artifacts like bows and arrows, ostrich eggshells, and ochre rocks.
The “Planet Africa” exhibition, which has also been displayed in Mozambique, Kenya, Morocco, and Ghana, traces human evolution and provides insights into the shared history of humanity.
