MBABANE – Wanted Swaziland Youth Congress (SWAYOCO) Treasurer General Nontethelelo Ncamsile Nkambule says her life was turned upside down by what she described as a single post that led to widespread allegations against her and the collapse of everything she had worked to build.

In an emotional message shared on her Facebook page, Nkambule reflected on the impact the controversy surrounding her has had on her personal life, reputation and future, saying she wished she could one day tell her side of the story.

“One day I wish I could get a mic and tell my story from my perspective,” she wrote. “Like share my truth from Day 1 till date. I wish someone could give me a chance to say at least a word against the millions they have said about me.”

The 27-year-old political activist said she had remained silent while numerous accusations were made against her, adding that she hoped for an opportunity to explain her version of events.

Nkambule further stated that throughout her life she had forgiven people who had wronged her, only to find herself facing allegations that she almost killed a stranger.

“I wish to tell how I forgave people who did greater evil towards me in this journey of life only for me to be accused of almost killing a stranger,” she wrote.

She also spoke about personal struggles and sacrifices she had made in an effort to improve her circumstances and those of her family.

“Wish to speak of the scars I got trying to make myself a better person in life and changing the story of my family only for everything to collapse with a single post,” she stated.

Nkambule’s remarks come months after the Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) issued a wanted notice linking her to an alleged kidnapping and attempted murder case reported in April this year.

Police have maintained that they are investigating allegations that a group of individuals abducted and assaulted a man before leaving him unconscious in a forest. Authorities have appealed for information that could lead to her arrest.

However, SWAYOCO and other pro-democracy organisations have consistently rejected the allegations, describing them as politically motivated and without factual basis.

Following Nkambule’s latest post, messages of solidarity and support flooded social media platforms, with activists, youth leaders and supporters expressing sympathy for her situation.

Several supporters encouraged her to remain strong and said they looked forward to hearing her version of events. Others described her as a committed activist who had contributed to youth development and democratic advocacy in the country.
