MBABANE – Gogo Eswatini and S’wane will open their 2026 comedy calendar with a Valentine’s Day production titled Love and Laughter, scheduled for February 14 at the Mantenga Nature Reserve and Cultural Village.
The acclaimed comedy duo will return to the stage after the festive season break, marking what has become one of their annual signature shows. The event is expected to attract couples, singles and comedy lovers from across the Kingdom, offering an evening that blends humour, romance and nature.
The show will be staged at Mantenga Nature Reserve, a venue known locally and internationally for its cultural tours, waterfalls and scenic landscapes. Organisers say the choice of venue is part of the experience, allowing audiences to enjoy Eswatini’s natural beauty alongside live entertainment.
S’wane said the concept behind Love and Laughter goes beyond stand up comedy, as it is meant to create a relaxed and immersive experience. He encouraged patrons to arrive early to explore the surroundings before the show begins, describing the setting as ideal for reflection and renewal ahead of the performance.
He added that growth remains central to their work, with each production seen as a chance to deliver something better than before. According to S’wane, this year’s show was intentionally designed to combine laughter with the soothing sounds of flowing water and the calm atmosphere of Mantenga.
The Valentine’s Day event will feature a line up of performers including Darren and Bongiswa, Shawn the Talking Monkey, ChristianDude and Festival B, who will deliver poetry. The show will be hosted by Mngobi Tsabedze.
