Geneva, Switzerland – The Kingdom of Lesotho is represented at the Global Refugee Forum Progress Review in Geneva, Switzerland, by the Minister of Local Government, Chieftainship, Home Affairs and Police, Honourable Lebona Lephema. The event runs from 15 to 17 December 2025 and brings together governments and key stakeholders to assess progress on the Global Compact on Refugees.
The forum provides an opportunity to report on commitments made at the 2019 and 2023 Global Refugee Forums, including outstanding pledges. During the sessions, Minister Lephema outlined Lesotho’s achievements in implementing the four pledges announced at previous forums, alongside other national developments aimed at supporting displaced persons.
The Minister is also holding bilateral meetings with stakeholders on the sidelines of the conference to explore further collaboration.
