MBABANE – The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade, in partnership with the Small Enterprises Development Company (SEDCO), has announced that the 2025 Entrepreneur of the Year Awards (EYA) National Gala Dinner will take place on Wednesday, October 22.
The event, which celebrates business excellence and innovation among Eswatini’s entrepreneurs, will be officiated by His Majesty King Mswati III. The presence of the monarch reflects the country’s continued drive to realise his vision of nurturing the first Liswati billionaire business.
SEDCO, which coordinates the annual awards, said the EYA remains the premier national platform for recognising small and medium business owners who demonstrate outstanding innovation, resilience, and job creation across the four regions of the kingdom.
The EYA programme is designed not only to honour achievement but also to provide market visibility for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), helping them expand beyond local markets in line with the Eswatini MSME Policy (2024–2029).
This year’s event is supported through strong public-private collaboration, with FNB Eswatini contributing over E1.7 million as the title sponsor alongside other corporate partners.
