MANZINI – Over 150 women from across Eswatini are expected to converge at the Liberty Community Centre on August 30, 2025, for the Young Life Women’s Conference, held under the theme “Women Leadership Acceleration.”
The one-day event, scheduled from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, will focus on empowerment, advocacy, networking, and personal growth.
Organisers say the conference aims to equip women with practical strategies to advance in leadership, business, and ministry while fostering stronger community networks.
The programme will cover a wide range of topics including entrepreneurship, spiritual growth, self-esteem, identity, women in ministry, and the importance of being equally yoked. According to organisers, participants will not only be inspired but will also leave with concrete action plans for their communities and personal development.
Christian psychologist and entrepreneur Samukelisiwe Busika, who also founded Swazi SHEROES to empower vulnerable young women, will speak on faith and financial independence is one of the linedup speakers.
Others are Phetsile Dlamini, a youth leader and worship team member who will address youth ministry and education, while businesswoman Nomive Dlamini, founder of Nomisli Investments and Hagah Construction, will highlight the role of women in entrepreneurship.
Other speakers include educator Jabu Monica Nsibande, who has over 17 years of leadership experience, and nurse and mental health specialist Thandisisa Mngometulu, who leads God’s Girl Foundation. The conference will be hosted by child protection specialist and entrepreneur Fezile Ntungw’elihle Khumalo, with Daluthando Nxumalo, a social worker and Area Director for Young Life College Eswatini, serving as co-host.
Adding creativity and inspiration to the program will be performances from local artists Linda Mnisi and Buhle Cee. Tickets are priced at E150 and are available through dedicated lines, with organizers anticipating a full house. The dress code is black and white, underscoring the formal yet vibrant atmosphere of the gathering.
