The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially confirmed the list of stadiums approved to host the preliminary rounds of the Champions League and Confederation Cup with South Africa posting the majority at 13. This list will be used for games in the 2025/2026 season.

The list can be updated in the coming weeks as new developments occur. For now, nations like the Central African Republic, Djibouti, Eritrea, Guinea, Lesotho, Namibia, São Tomé, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, and Somalia do not have any stadiums on the approved list. This will force clubs from these countries to play their home games in other nations.

A few stadiums have received temporary approval from CAF, including Stade Intwari in Bujumbura, Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno in Chad, and Somhlolo National Stadium in Eswatini. The approval of these venues allows 45 African nations to host matches for the CAF Champions League, CAF Confederation Cup, and various youth tournament qualifiers.

The list shows a clear disparity in infrastructure across the continent. South Africa tops the list with 13 approved stadiums. Morocco follows with 10, and Algeria has nine accredited stadiums. The list highlights that many countries have at least one approved venue.
