MBABANE – The 2025 edition of the Made in Eswatini Consumer Choice Awards paid tribute to local entrepreneurs, creatives, and enterprises whose products and services are making a mark in the kingdom and beyond.
Held in Mbabane and organised by A Peculiar People, the annual awards event drew thousands of consumer votes across 12 categories. From fashion and food to wellness, hospitality, and youth innovation, the night was a showcase of Swazi excellence.
Among the big winners were SWAWE by Cebo Malinga, voted Favourite Fashion Brand, and Ebuhleni Natural Products, which claimed the Hair and Skin Brand of the Year title. In the agribusiness category, Dlamini Chicken Abattoir walked away with top honours, while Snacks and Treats by Noma secured the Favourite Food Brand award.
Eswatini Kitchen took home Favourite Creative Brand, Emlembe Beverages won in the Beverage category, and Sweet Thorn Lodge was named top Hospitality Brand. Elite Hygiene stood out in the Services category, while Dwala Events topped the Events and Lifestyle category.
Sibebe Premium Lager, brewed by Eswatini Beverages Limited (EBL), received the coveted Product of the Year award. Other consumer favourites included Organic Luju Sachets by Thandeka Delisile Mazibuko for Health and Wellness, and Seana Marena Designs as Favourite Youth-Owned Brand.
Social impact was recognised through Kwakha Indvodza, which won the Favourite NGO or Community Project award.
Honorary awards were also presented to long-standing contributors to the local economy: Alliance Foods, Slomoes Corporation, Emlembe Beverages, and Destiny Events were acknowledged for their commitment to growing Swazi-made enterprises.
