Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini says Eswatini’s participation in the upcoming Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, offers a rare chance for the kingdom to learn from global experiences and share its own story with the world.
Speaking on Monday during the Eswatini Welcome Reception hosted by the Government of Japan, the PM described the international exposition as more than just an event, calling it a platform for exchanging ideas, building relationships, and inspiring future generations.
He urged the Eswatini delegation to be attentive and gather useful knowledge that could benefit the country beyond the expo.

“Our participation in this expo is an opportunity to draw lessons from Japan, a country that has perfected the art of hosting global events. We want to apply those lessons not only to future expos but to possibly host similar initiatives in Eswatini,” said Dlamini.
He praised Japan’s leadership in innovation and cultural diplomacy, calling the Expo a reflection of the country’s dedication to global cooperation. The Prime Minister said Eswatini’s pavilion will serve as a showcase of the nation’s culture, natural beauty, and aspirations.
“Our presence here represents our identity — our traditions, our landscapes, and our vision for the future,” he said.
