Instacash schools soccer Top 16 draw sets stage for regional clashes

MBABANE – The Top 16 Knockout Draw of the 2025 Instacash Schools Soccer Tournament was held on Monday morning at Sigwaca House, signalling the beginning of the final countdown to one of Eswatini’s most anticipated school sports competitions.

The draw ceremony brought together school representatives and organisers under one roof, where excitement filled the air as matchups were announced. Each of the participating schools also received their official kits during the session, setting a vibrant and competitive tone ahead of kickoff.

The regional finals will be staged across four regions from June 3 to June 6, with all games starting at 9am. The Hhohho region fixtures are scheduled for Tuesday, June 3 at Killarney Sports Ground. Wild Card will face Siphocosini High, followed by Mhlatane High taking on the winner between Madlangempisi and Sikhunyane.

The action moves to the Manzini region on Wednesday, June 4. Ekuphakameni will meet Manzini Central, while Mcozini High battles Inyandza High.

Shiselweni region schools will clash at the King Sobhuza II Stadium on Thursday, June 5. Ngudzeni FEA is set to take on Nhlangano 1, and Qomintaba High will play against Hlathikhulu Central.

The regional stage wraps up on Friday, June 6 at Simunye Stadium in the Lubombo region. Nhlangano 2 goes head-to-head with either Lusoti or Lomahasha, while Mpaka High faces Hlutse High.

Winners from each region will proceed to the national semifinals, which will be played on Friday, June 13 at the King Sobhuza II Stadium in Nhlangano. Lubombo region will meet Manzini, and Hhohho will face Shiselweni in a fight for a place in the national final.
