Four high school learners were placed in the Human Resources and Finance departments of the Small Enterprises Development Company (SEDCO) as part of a 10-day job shadow initiative organised by Junior Achievement (JA) Eswatini.
The programme, which recently concluded, gave the students a rare opportunity to observe day-to-day operations in a corporate setting. SEDCO confirmed the students were actively involved and mentored throughout their stay at the organisation’s offices.
The initiative is part of JA Eswatini’s broader efforts to prepare the country’s youth for future careers by exposing them to real workplace environments.
SEDCO described the students as bright and eager to learn, noting that the initiative gave them practical insights into how key departments function and what career paths may lie ahead.
