Over 150 students from across Eswatini spent their school holidays gaining real-world work experience through a 10-day job shadowing initiative organised by JA Eswatini in partnership with FNB Eswatini.

The programme, which ran during the first term break, placed learners in 30 companies across various industries. Students engaged directly with professionals, experiencing day-to-day operations and learning workplace skills that align with their future career goals.

Participants were drawn from schools that run JA Eswatini programmes, and each received a certificate of attendance during a special ceremony that recognised their commitment.

Speaking during the closing event, Ministry of Education and Training Director Lindiwe Dlamini commended the initiative, acknowledging the role of both JA Eswatini and FNB Eswatini, along with the companies that hosted the students. She said government supports such efforts to expose young people to the world of work and help them make informed career choices.
