  • Apostle Justice relays 2022 message with Balthazar Parable

Mbabane – As he relayed his message for success in 2022, Apostle Justice Dlamini ushered his congregation to the New Year with the biblical story of how and why God decided to kill King Belshazzar.

The Mbabane Worship Centre leader quoted the book of Daniel 5, which relates the story of the King. The gist of the apostle’s message was the importance of honouring and submitting to God.

“He decided to bring all his wives, nobles and dignitaries because he was the head of state. It was a red carpet pomp occasion and the wine was everywhere. The music player also had his own drinks and it was fun. All the beautiful women were there. This story changed my life,” explained the pastor.

Apostle Dlamini continued, “While the party was on, the king never did anything evil according to human assessment, he was just enjoying himself, so he brought vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar brought from the temple in Jerusalem when they were destroying the temple. The vessels were there just to decorate the event, like it happens in events where we see gold spoons displayed.”

Parliament and ministry review pension fund bill

December 9, 2025

The man of God said while enjoying themselves, suddenly the fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of the wall, the king watched as it wrote. He said the bible says the knees of the king were shaking in terror and fear and his face turned pale.

“He called the enchanters, astrologers and diviners to come and try to interpret what was happening. They could not until a man of God by the name of Daniel was brought in before the king. When Daniel came, the king said, “I am told by mother (the Queen Mother), that there is a man here in Babylon in whose life there is the spirit of Jehovah and they say you are the one. My astrologers, sorcerers and wizards have failed.” Daniel walked in and said long live Your Majesty. The inscription was written, ‘MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN’.”

Apostle Dlamini highlighted that Daniel said to the king, “Your Majesty, you have been weighed in the scales of heaven concerning your allegiance to Jehovah, your loyalty to the one who keeps you breathing and you have been found wanting.” According to the man of God, Daniel then said, “That writing is a judgement pronouncement and this is the reason, you have decided to praise the gods of silver, gold, bronze and iron, wood and stone, but you did not honour the God who holds in his hand your life and all your ways, and for that omission, tonight you are dying” and the king died.

The pastor said there are good people who die, some in car accidents and people wonder why but God decided they must go. He continued, “There are people who die and they were not supposed to die, why? God was just saying what is the use of keeping this guy alive?, he does not care about me, let me withdraw my asset, which is the breath of life, and people expire before their time.”
