Buffaloes waiting for government’s go ahead on their fixtures

Mbabane: The Army side Young Buffaloes (FC) is waiting with keen interest on government’s correspondence on their fixture against Etoile du Sahel next month.

Young Buffaloes Public Relations Officer (PRO) Sabelo Gwebu when sought for comment said “nothing yet official except that we are still waiting for Government to give us green light whether to start training or not”. Buffaloes have a date with the Tunisian side on Februarys 14, 2021 at Mavuso Sports Centre for the CAF Confederations Cup group stages after they were eliminated in the Champions League by DR Congo outfit AS Vita on a 6-3 agregate.

When sought for comment the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Communications Officer Sibongiseni Zondi said they were still working on the issue of Young Buffaloes. “We are are working on the issue of Young Buffaloes, we are going to have a feedback before the end of the day today”. Sporting activates remain banned in the country after government extended the partial lock down by further 30 days.
