COVID-19: Eswatini’s COVID-19 cases hits 12 000 mark

Mbabane: The Kingdom of Eswatini has passed the 12 000 mark on Wednesday as 205 new cases were identified.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases now stands at 12 124 as of January 13, 2021.

On another note, the total number fatalities recorded in Eswatini have reached 332 as 13 deaths were reported on this date.

This statistics were revealed by the daily COVID-19 updates by the Minister of Health Lizzie Nkosi.

The Minister reported that the number of active cases increased to 3 601 as the total number of people who have recuperated from the pandemic now stands at 7 986.

The Hhohho Region has recorded 5 136 cases which makes it the new epicenter of the pandemic in the country. Manzini region has recorded 4 966 while Lubombo And Shiselweni Regions have recorded 1 094 and 928.
