EZULWINI — Eswatini is preparing to celebrate one of its treasured musical legends as Mshikishi Mdzebele, popularly known as “The Gorilla Man,” reaches two remarkable milestones, 72 years of life and an extraordinary 52 years in music.
The legendary Umbhacanga musician will be honoured on 21 November 2026 at Emsengeni Lounge in Ezulwini, where music lovers, artists, family, friends and supporters will gather from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM for the special Double Celebration.
More than a birthday party or ordinary music concert, the event is being positioned as a cultural and heritage celebration dedicated to honouring Mshikishi’s contribution to Eswatini’s music industry while preserving his story for generations to come.
