Mbabane – Standard Bank Eswatini has announced that it will decommission its Unayo digital platform by December 31, 2026, as the bank restructures its digital banking services.

The bank said the closure would be implemented in phases, with affected customers receiving communication on migration arrangements and the timelines applicable to them.

Unayo customers have been advised to continue using the platform until they receive specific instructions from Standard Bank on when and how they will be migrated to alternative banking services.

The bank said the decision was taken following a strategic review of Unayo and forms part of its wider digital transformation strategy.
