MBABANE – Upscale Live has hailed the exclusive listening session for As 4 JerryP’s highly anticipated debut album, Libhungu Lemhlolo, as a success, marking another significant milestone in the young artist’s musical journey.
The intimate industry gathering was held at Yini Loku in Mbabane and brought together key stakeholders from Eswatini’s creative sector, including media representatives, artists, music promoters and influential industry figures.
Hosted by Upscale Live, As 4 JerryP’s record label and management team, the session offered invited guests an opportunity to experience the 18-track album ahead of its official release. Attendees listened to the full project while engaging with the artist and his team about the inspiration, creative direction and significance of the body of work.
Libhungu Lemhlolo also boasts an impressive collection of collaborations, featuring Upscale Live label mate Lyrikal Busta, former Upscale Live artist Sean Cast HQ, as well as LK BABA, Cool Drop, Bon Legendary, Charlie SD and rising Steki talent Lyrical Besh Dpr.
Several of the featured artists attended the listening session, adding to the collaborative spirit of the occasion and providing an opportunity for the artists to celebrate the project together.
The event was supported by ESWACOS (Eswatini Copyright and Neighbouring Rights Society), Spotted Horse and Motion Skies Pictures, whose contributions played a key role in making the gathering possible.
During the session, Upscale Live Founder and Director Sbusiso Simelane announced that Libhungu Lemhlolo is now available for pre-order across major digital streaming platforms. The announcement gives fans an opportunity to secure the project ahead of its official release.
The album is scheduled to officially drop on Friday, 28 August 2026, with anticipation continuing to build around As 4 JerryP’s first full-length project.
The listening session also highlighted the growing importance of creating platforms where local artists can connect with industry stakeholders, media and fellow creatives before releasing major projects.
For As 4 JerryP, Libhungu Lemhlolo represents more than the release of a debut album. It marks an important chapter in his development as an artist and his emergence within Eswatini’s competitive music landscape.
