LOBAMBA- The Zizol Youth Football Showcase is set to bring together some of Eswatini’s most promising young football talent for two days of exciting competition, development and scouting. Scheduled for 21–22 August 2026, the tournament will take place at the EFA Technical Center in Lobamba, creating an important platform for young players to demonstrate their abilities and take another step toward fulfilling their football ambitions.
The showcase is open to boys under the age of 20 who were born on or after 1 January 2006. With 16 teams and 288 players expected to participate, the tournament promises a competitive environment where players can test themselves against some of the best emerging talent.
More than just a football competition, the event is designed to promote important qualities both on and off the pitch. Its focus includes talent identification, teamwork, discipline, healthy lifestyles, community engagement, and the recognition of outstanding performances through awards and prizes. These values highlight the importance of developing young footballers as complete individuals, rather than focusing solely on their sporting ability.
The showcase also offers players an opportunity to attract attention from coaches, scouts and other football stakeholders. Registration for the event is priced at E750.00, with the registration deadline set for 15 August 2026. Participants and teams are therefore encouraged to complete the registration process before the deadline to secure their place.
