MANZINI -The countdown to one of Eswatini’s biggest summer entertainment experiences has officially begun, with the Ocean Summer Vibes Launch set to take place on Sunday, 6 September 2026, at Ocean Cuisine.
Announced by renowned DJ and producer Sbu De Drum, the launch event will feature popular entertainer Uncool MC, promising an afternoon of high-energy music, vibrant entertainment and a taste of what fans can expect from the highly anticipated Ocean Summer Vibes Main Event later this year.
In a social media announcement, organisers described the event as more than just a launch.
“Summer is calling… and we’re answering! This isn’t just a launch, it’s a vibe drop,” the post read, inviting music lovers from across Eswatini to be part of the experience.
The launch will see Uncool MC take over the decks at Ocean Cuisine, setting the tone for the summer season with an exciting mix of music and entertainment.
Unlike the main festival, tickets for the launch will only be available at the gate, with entry priced at E100. Organisers have confirmed that there will be no presale tickets, encouraging attendees to simply arrive and enjoy the festivities.
The event also serves as a reminder that early bird tickets for the Ocean Summer Vibes Main Event close on 31 July 2026. Fans who want to secure discounted access to the flagship festival are urged to purchase their tickets before the deadline through Moja Tickets.
Ocean Summer Vibes has already generated significant excitement after announcing a star-studded lineup for its main event, featuring some of Southern Africa’s biggest names, including DJ Maphorisa, Kelvin Momo, Blxckie, Pcee, Danya Devs, Sbu De Drum and DJ Cup. The festival is scheduled to take place on 24 October 2026 at Riders Ranch in Sidvokodvo.
The launch event now confirmed, organisers are aiming to build momentum ahead of what is expected to be one of Eswatini’s biggest music and lifestyle gatherings of the year.
