MALKERNS – The inaugural Kota Festival Eswatini has turned up the heat with yet another major artist announcement, as acclaimed South African DJ and producer MÖRDA has officially been confirmed to perform at the highly anticipated event on 24 October 2026.
The former Black Motion member becomes the latest addition to a growing line-up that already features Ringo Madlingozi, Emtee, and Mlindo The Vocalist, further cementing the festival’s status as one of the biggest entertainment events set to take place in Eswatini this year.
Known for his signature Afro-house sound and electrifying live performances, MÖRDA has built a successful solo career with hit songs and collaborations that have dominated dance floors across Africa. His energetic set is expected to bring a vibrant atmosphere to the all-day festival, giving fans an unforgettable musical experience.
Hosted at the Malkerns Country Club, the Kota Festival will run from 10am to 10pm, combining top-tier entertainment with a celebration of the beloved kota. Festival-goers can expect a variety of food vendors, lifestyle experiences and performances from some of Southern Africa’s biggest artists.
Early bird tickets remain available through Computicket and Moja Ticket, with general admission priced at E150 for adults, E100 for students and E80 for children. The premium VIP package, costing E800, includes secured parking, reserved seating and a complimentary kota.
Organisers have confirmed that the festival will operate as a cashless event, encouraging attendees to use their bank cards for purchases. Camp chairs and empty cooler boxes will be allowed, while outside food and beverages will not be permitted inside the venue.
Patrons are also encouraged to embrace the festival’s official dress code of all white with a touch of yellow, adding to the colourful and stylish atmosphere expected throughout the day.
With four headline acts now confirmed, excitement continues to build as the countdown to the Kingdom’s first-ever Kota Festival gathers momentum. Organisers have hinted that more artist announcements are still on the way, promising an even bigger celebration of music, food and culture when the festival arrives in October.
