MBABANE – Eswatini’s vibrant hip-hop scene is set to welcome another powerful release as rap duo Fanson & Triple Z join forces with rising newcomers MB Parables on a brand-new single titled INTFOMBI, scheduled for release on 31 July 2026 across all major streaming platforms.
Meaning “The Unmarried Girl” in siSwati, INTFOMBI is more than just another hip-hop record. The song delivers a meaningful message encouraging young women to embrace self-respect, patience and traditional values by waiting for the right time before entering marriage.
While many modern hip-hop releases focus on partying and entertainment, Fanson, Triple Z and MB Parables have chosen a different direction by using music as a platform to promote cultural values and inspire the youth. Blending hard-hitting rap verses with melodic hooks and an infectious contemporary beat, the song balances commercial appeal with a socially conscious message.
The collaboration itself began unexpectedly after a live performance. MB Parables, who are steadily making a name for themselves in Eswatini’s music industry, attended one of Fanson & Triple Z’s performances and approached the duo backstage.
According to Fanson, the aspiring artists expressed their admiration and eagerness to work together. After sharing the idea behind INTFOMBI, everyone immediately connected with the vision, leading to a studio session that would become their first official collaboration.
The track was recorded in Kwaluseni, Matsapha, and produced by TNS SAVVY, one of the producers helping shape Eswatini’s new generation of hip-hop. His production provides a modern, polished sound while allowing the lyrics and message to remain at the forefront.
For MB Parables, the collaboration represents a major breakthrough, while Fanson & Triple Z continue building on the momentum they have created this year. Their musical journey began with their first recording at Sandy Studio before attracting attention through performances, including a standout appearance at the Hlathikhulu Mavu Wine and Malt event hosted by One RIB on 26 June.
Their growing profile later earned them support from SK The Rapper, who introduced them to a wider audience and helped pave the way for the release of their previous single, Emalobolo, on 26 May 2026.
With INTFOMBI, the trio hopes to spark conversations around culture, identity and positive choices among young people. The release will be accompanied by a digital campaign featuring visuals, TikTok content and live performances across Eswatini throughout August.
As anticipation builds ahead of its release, INTFOMBI promises to be a song that not only entertains but also celebrates Eswatini’s cultural values while showcasing the country’s growing hip-hop talent.
