MBABANE— Popular media personality and event host Mnqobi Tsabedze has added to the growing excitement surrounding the upcoming Dr Tumi live concert in Eswatini after sharing an enthusiastic message on his Facebook page.
Tsabedze, who will serve as the official host of the event, expressed his excitement about being part of what he described as another great project in a year filled with remarkable events and achievements.
Quoting the lyrics of Dr Tumi’s popular worship song, “I am nothing without You, without You,” Tsabedze revealed that gospel music lovers are in for a special experience when the celebrated South African gospel star takes to the stage in Eswatini on 5 July 2026.
“Part of the amazing events and projects I have worked on this year, let me add another great event for you to attend this year,” Tsabedze wrote. “On the 5th of July 2026, Dr Tumi is coming to perform live with his band, yes! Live in Eswatini.”
The highly anticipated event is being presented by Kufeziwe Communications and is expected to attract gospel music fans from across the country. According to promotional material, the concert will take place at Mbabane Alliance from 5pm until late, with tickets selling for E250.
Tsabedze assured attendees that they can expect an unforgettable atmosphere from the moment the show begins until the final performance of the night.
“As your MC, your Host, I promise you a great time from the first second of the show, to the last!” he said.
Adding an interactive touch to his post, Tsabedze invited fans to share their favourite Dr Tumi songs in the comments section, hinting that one of the most requested tracks could even be chosen as the opening song of the evening.
“Which of your favourite Dr Tumi song still stands as the best for you? I’ll read comments, maybe it will be the opening song,” he teased.
Dr Tumi is set to perform live with his full band and excitement continuing to build online, gospel music enthusiasts are counting down the days to what promises to be a memorable night of worship and inspiration in the Kingdom of Eswatini.
