MBABANE— Men from across Eswatini are being encouraged to attend the upcoming “Mfowethu, U-Grend?” gathering, a one-day event focused on collective healing, rejuvenation, and meaningful conversations around issues affecting men in society.

Scheduled for July 4, 2026, at Happy Valley Hotel in Ezulwini, the event will run from 9:00am to 4:00pm and is expected to bring together men from all walks of life under one roof.

Media personality, speaker, and master of ceremonies Mnqobi Tsabedze has thrown his support behind the initiative, urging men not to miss what he described as a life-changing experience. Tsabedze will serve as both the Moderator and Co-Programme Director for the event.

In a passionate message shared on social media, he challenged men to honestly reflect on their well-being.

“Are you a man? Don’t miss this one. DON’T! You know awukho grend, and if uva ngatsi uGrend then kusho kutsi awukho Grend mbamba,” he wrote.

Tsabedze said he is honoured to be part of a platform that seeks to create safe spaces where men can openly discuss their struggles, experiences, and aspirations.

“In a world that constantly demands strength from men, we often forget that true strength also lies in healing, reflection, and restoration. We definitely need a space where we can open up, cry, and laugh together,” he said.

He added that the event is about more than just discussions, describing it as a movement aimed at empowering men and promoting healthier communities.

“I am inviting all men to join us for a powerful day of collective healing and rejuvenation, where emajita come together to engage in meaningful conversations, build authentic connections, and explore pathways towards a healthier and a better Eswatini.”

The programme will feature discussions on mental health, financial wellness, parenting, relationships, spirituality, addiction, grief, marriage, reproductive health, and other topics that directly impact men’s lives. Several respected speakers and professionals are expected to share insights and practical guidance throughout the day.

Tsabedze also expressed gratitude to Gogo Eswatini, Talent Faktory Entertainment, and other partners for creating a concept that places men’s well-being at the centre of national conversations.

Tickets priced at E250, organisers believe the gathering could mark the beginning of a stronger culture of support, healing, and brotherhood among Eswatini’s men.
