MALKERNS- With just weeks to go before the flames are lit, MTN Bushfire 2026 is turning up the heat with a powerhouse line-up that’s already got fans counting down the days.

If you’ve missed a few drops, here’s a quick reminder: this isn’t just another festival announcement,  this is Bushfire in motion.

Headlining the 19th edition, themed “Juncture of Hum”, are global heavyweights and genre-shaping innovators. From the genre-bending electronic flair of Uncle Waffles to the high-energy Afro-fusion brilliance of KOKOROKO, the Main Arena promises unforgettable moments. Legendary singer-songwriter Jesse Clegg joins forces with Msaki, while Congolese collective Jupiter & Okwess bring their infectious rhythms to the fire.

Adding to the electric atmosphere is the powerful Busi Mhlongo Tribute, celebrating the legacy of the late South African icon, alongside performances by the ever-inspiring Ndlovu Youth Choir and a wave of dynamic regional and international acts.

A Celebration of Roots and Rising Voices

MTN Bushfire has always been more than music, it’s a cultural movement. African roots meet global sounds as legends and new voices share one stage. From soul and Afro-pop to electronic, folk, jazz and experimental fusions, the 2026 edition blends artistry with activism, sparking conversations that matter.

Eswatini’s own stars are proudly flying the national flag high. Acts like Sarnilo, Zvikodryad, and Swati Strings are set to showcase homegrown excellence on an international platform, proving once again that local fire burns just as bright.

Beyond the Main Arena, festivalgoers can expect theatre, poetry, dance, and immersive art experiences woven into the weekend programme. It’s a space where rhythm meets resistance, creativity meets community, and every performance tells a story.

Organisers have confirmed that Main Arena Full Festival tickets are now in their final phase and on the brink of selling out. Fans are urged to secure their passes as soon as possible via the official website: https://www.bush-fire.com/tickets/

Eswatini Fire Starters are also covered with exclusive local rates available through the MTN Mobile Money WhatsApp Marketplace. Simply WhatsApp “Hi” to 7808 4000, select MTN Bushfire, and follow the prompts to grab your ticket.

From 29–31 May 2026, the globally celebrated festival returns to House On Fire with a promise: three days of connection, culture and conscious celebration.

The only question left is, which artist has you counting down the days?
