TSHANENI – Tshaneni police are investigating an arson incident at Nkambeni that occurred on Saturday, April 4, 2026, around 9:00 AM.

A 53-year-old resident reported that his house and belongings, valued at E28,000, were deliberately set alight. Preliminary investigations indicate that the suspect is the complainant’s girlfriend. The couple reportedly had an argument before the woman allegedly set the house on fire, destroying clothes, a bed, a TV, and a wardrobe, before fleeing the scene.
Police continue to investigate the matter and are working to apprehend the suspect.
