Gospel Giants to Ignite “Throne Room” at The Luke Commission

SIDVOKODVO- The spiritual atmosphere in Eswatini is about to shift. This April, The Luke Commission (TLC) transforms from a hub of medical healing into a sanctuary of praise as it hosts the annual Throne Room: The Divine Encounter.

While TLC is globally recognized for its healthcare footprint, its reputation as a premier destination for high-intensity worship is growing just as fast. This year’s gathering isn’t just a concert; it’s a cross-border spiritual bridge anchored by South African powerhouse Dumi Mkokstad.

A Heavyweight Lineup

Mkokstad, a name synonymous with chart-topping hits like Mbize and The Overflow, brings a seasoned ministry that has already seen massive success in recent South African revivals. But the draw of this event lies in its collaborative spirit. Joining him are some of the region’s most resonant voices:

Nozipho Beulah: The South African vocalist known for her ability to turn a performance into a deep, worship-led experience.

Machawe Simelane: A local favorite whose ministry has a deep, personal connection with the Eswatini faithful.

Nothando Dlamini: A cherished voice in the local church circuit, adding a layer of home-grown grace to the stage.

More Than a Performance

The theme, “Throne Room,” isn’t just a catchy title. According to organizers, it represents a specific intent: creating a space of “sacred intimacy” where the traditional boundaries between the stage and the pews disappear.

“The concept is about surrender and expectation,” the organizers noted. “It’s for those seeking more than just music, it’s for those looking for a breakthrough.”

For many, the intersection of TLC’s medical mission and this musical ministry makes perfect sense. Both are dedicated to restoration, whether physical or spiritual. As the date approaches, the buzz across Southern Africa suggests that this “Divine Encounter” might be the most significant worship event on the 2026 calendar.

If you’re looking to experience Gospel music at its most raw and reverent, TLC is the place to be this April.
