Maputo – The Inspector General of Mozambique Police, His Excellency Joaquim Adriano Sive, hosted a dinner for the Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) delegation at Bolana Serena Hotel, marking the conclusion of a day of security discussions.
Gifts were exchanged, reflecting the mutual respect and camaraderie between the two police services.
Sive said, “Your presence in our country constitutes an important milestone in strengthening the historic relations of friendship, solidarity and cooperation between our two states. Bilateral cooperation between the two entities is strategic and indispensable. We firmly believe that exchanging information, conducting joint operations, technical training and sharing good practices are fundamental pillars for strengthening our institutional capacity for crime prevention.”
National Commissioner of Police Mr. Manoma Vusie Masango thanked the host for the warm reception and hospitality. He added that Mozambique will always be home to Emaswati and others, and reaffirmed the shared commitment to combating cross-border crime and terrorism to ensure regional security.
